• Price: The Nexon EV Max is priced from Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 19.54 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Also, there’s also a more affordable version of the electric SUV
  • Variants: The long-range EV is being offered in three broad variants: XM, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. The Dark edition comes on the top-spec XZ+ trim.
  • Seating Capacity: The Nexon EV Max can seat up to five people.
  • Battery, Electric Motor and Range: The Nexon EV Max uses a 40.5kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor that churns out 143PS and 250Nm. It has an ARAI-claimed range of 453km.
  • Charging: Tata’s long range EV supports two charging options: 3.3kW and 7.2kW, with charging times of 15 hours and six hours, respectively. It also supports fast charging of up to 50kW, which can juice up the battery from 0-80 per cent in just 56 minutes.
  • Features: Features onboard the Tata Nexon EV Max includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system (other variants get the same 7-inch unit), a single-pane sunroof, an auto-dimming IRVM, air purifier and a wireless phone charger. It also gets ventilated front seats and cruise control.
  • Safety: It gets all-wheel disc brakes, hill hold control, hill descent control, electronic parking brake and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Standard safety features include dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, cornering stability control and ABS with EBD.
